Sensor for high T and high S= content applications

301-S-021

Reference electrode for high poisoning , hot samples , Mod.301-S-021

Sensors designed to work at high temperatures (up to 120 °C, included signal cables) and in  samples with peculiar characteristics, among which a high sulphides content. These sesnors have been designed on customer's specifications and are to be inserted into his own sensor fittings.
Reference electrode, Mod.301/S-021. Includes a lower stem and an upper chamber; the PVDF stem includes the ceramic porous diaphragm and is filled with a special KCl solid electrolyte. In the upper part of the stem a second porous diaphragm allows the contact between the solid KCl electrolyte and the electrolyte included in the upper chamber (second salt bridge), in which a third porous diaphragm is included.  The reference element is thallium based, suitable to work at high temperatures and in presence of sulphites.
This series of salt bridges protects the reference electrode from poisoning and assures long term reliability even in the  hash conditions foreseen in this application.
A series of Viton seals allows to insert the electrode into the AISI 316 SS sensor fitting.
Single pole signal cable, not shielded, red PTFE sheath
Reference electrode resistance:  < 20 KOhm @ 20°C
Materials at contact: PVDF, ceramic, Viton O-Rings
Reference potential Th/ThCl:  +800 mV when compared to calomel reference potential
