Bench top analyser for oxygen in air
Analyser of oxygen in air including an O2 sensor and an electronic unit c/w display for local indication of O2 measured value and of possible alarm condition.
The oxygen measuring cell has Pt/Ag electrodes immersed into an electrolyte solution and separated from the fluid under measure by a PTFE membrane. The cell includes a temperature sensor for measure thermo compensation and temperature indication. The cell, which is integral to the control panel, is pre-wired to the electronic unit through a multipolar integral cable.
The electronic unit is a fully programmable instrument that receives the input signal from the Oxygen sensor and pertinent temperature sensing element. The measure is compensated for temperature variations, displayed in engineering units and retransmitted on a 4-20 mA or 0-10 V analogue (connector on the control unit). The instrument is easily programmable and calibration procedure is automatic.
The oxygen and temperature values are shown on the red led alphanumeric display.
The instrument provides 2 alarm thresholds that can be freely set inside the measuring range. Corresponding digital outputs can be configured via software as NC or NO and can be programmed as low alarm, high alarm, alarm with hysteresis or windows alarm.
The oxygen measuring ranges may be selected as: 0-20 ppm, 0-21% or 0-100%.
The control panel includes the display for local indication of oxygen and temperature value, two pilot lights and a buzzer for the indication of alarm condition, a button for the reset of the alarm indication.
The equipment power supply is 220 Vac and includes the ON/OFF switch and the pilot light for the indication of ON/OFF status.
The complete equipment is included into an IP65 AISI 304 SS housing, c/w handle for lifting and transport.
No specific maintenance is required except the calibration check to be operated once per one or two months.
typical use of this equipment is the measure of oxygen in air in rooms where a depletion of O2 may occur with subsequent danger conditions for the persons.
This equipment is designed to be used in safe areas.
